Located only 15 minutes drive from Llanberis, the main base of Snowdon, and 10 minutes drive from Caernarfon, we are a farm stay bed and breakfast.

We have two rooms each of which can be made into double or twin bedrooms according to your needs. Both are en-suite.

A character lounge with original oak beams and a TV lounge with a wood burner in an inglenook fireplace.

Breakfast is eaten in the panelled dining room with separate tables where a home produced menu and mouth watering desserts will be served. Please email jane to enquire or phone on 01248 670 147.

We have been staying twice a year here for the last 8 years, both in the B&B and the cottages. The cottages are beautifully finished and equipped with a full complement of white goods and kitchen utensils. Large wood burners with baskets of logs complete the cosy feel. Jane does the best breakfasts ever and is such a welcoming hostess. There is so much to do in this area with both mountains and beaches within easy reach and Jane is a font of local knowledge for great places to visit.

History

“Ty Mawr” is a farm that dates back to the 1620′s, commanding magnificent views of the Snowdonia mountain range only three miles away.

The traditional 100 acre working farm rears suckler cows, a flock of the famous Welsh ‘Badger Faced’ sheep and poultry and is located between Llanberis and the historic town of Caernarfon.

The farmhouse stands in it’s own grounds with ample parking areas. Built circa 1740, the farmhouse has been beautifully renovated but still keeps it’s olde worlde charm. We are dog and pet friendly
